Wojciech Jasiński

Wojciech Jasiński is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw (1972).

In the years 1972 to 1986 he worked in Płock, among others. From 1992 to 1997 he worked at the Supreme Chamber of Control, successively as director of the NIK Delegation in Warsaw, the Finance and Budget Group, and the Department of the State Budget. Between 1997 and 2000, he was a member of the board of directors, then president of the management board of the Warsaw-based company Srebrna. He was a member of the Supervisory Board of Bank Ochrony Środowiska from 1998 to 2000. From September 2000 to July 2001 he was the undersecretary of state at the Ministry of Justice. Between 2006 and 2007 he was minister of treasury.

Since 2001, he has served as a member of parliament (IV, V, VI, VII and VIII of Parliament), serving as chairman of the Standing Subcommittee on Banking and Monetary Policy, chairman of the Committee on the Economy, and chairman of the Public Finance Committee. He was also a member of the Sejm’s State Treasury Committee.

On December 16, 2015 the Supervisory Board of PKN ORLEN S.A. appointed Jasinski to act as the president of the Management Board for a joint three-year term of office of the Management Board, which ends on the day of the Annual General Meeting approving the Company’s financial statements for the year 2016. Since February 25, 2016 he has also served as a member of the Supervisory Board of PKO Bank Polski SA.
