Piotr Wozniak

President of the Management Board

Mr. Piotr Woźniak is a graduate of geology of Warsaw University. In the years 1990 to 1991 he was an adviser to the minister of agriculture and the minister of industry, and in 1992 to 1996 he was a commercial counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Canada. He also served as an adviser to the prime minister for infrastructure from 1998 to 2000.

Between 1999 and 2002 he held various positions in the Polish Oil and Gas Company: member of the Supervisory Board and since June 2000 as the vice president of the Management Board. He served as cuncilor of Warsaw for the term 2002 to 2006. From 2005 to 2007 he served as the minister of economy.

From December 2011 to December 2013 he served as deputy minister at the Ministry of the Environment and chief geologist of the Country. He has also been a lecturer at Lazarski University and at the Warsaw School of Economics and member of the Convention of the Academy of Pedagogy of Special Education. Since 2009 he has been the president and since March 2014 the vice-chairman of the Administrative Council of Agency for Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER).
