Amb. Jerzy Koźmiński

Jerzy Koźmiński is president of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation. From 1989 to 1993 he was CEO and secretary of state in the URM. He was a close associate of deputy prime minister Leszek Balcerowicz. Koźmiński served as secretary of state in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Polish ambassador in Washington. He worked on behalf of Poland’s accession to NATO membership. For his services, among others, he received the Commander’s Cross with Star of “Polonia Restituta.”
