Krzysztof Szubert is a graduate of Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Organization and Management in Industry, specializing in industrial systems. He has served in managerial positions, both Polish and foreign IT companies, for over twenty years.
He is a Polish entrepreneur; since 1998, he was chairman of the board and managing director of the company CONNECT DISTRIBUTION, specializing in distribution to the CEE region of specialized software. He is the winner of many prestigious awards, including, European Medal, Business Gazelle, Diamonds Forbes, Minister of Economy Award, and the title of Ambassador of Polish Economy in 2016.
He has been in the IT and environment industries for several years. He is the author of many expert positions, opinions, articles, and comments in the daily press, specialist, radio, and television. For his activities in the IT industry he has been nominated several times for the “Form IT market.”
Since 2012 he served as the minister of economic digitization Shadow Cabinet Business Center Club (BCC). He was initiator and president of the Coalition for the Information Society (the limit) – a platform for dialogue and cooperation of the largest communities and organizations connected with the ICT industry to accelerate the development of information society in Poland. In 2015, editorial BurdaMedia/CRN awarded him the prestigious title of “Man of the Year of ICT Industry.” He is a member of IGF MAG (UN).
Since March 2017 he served as the secretary of state/deputy minister of the Ministry of Digitization responsible for international affairs and plenipotentiary of the Polish Government Affairs.
